The "Stock the Pantry" Food Drive was a huge success with a total of 504 pounds of donations for the Goochland Food Bank! Wow! The second grade had the most collections weighing in at a total of 141 pounds of donations. Kindergarten came in second with 132 pounds.

Our second graders will be treated to a "Stock the Pantry" Pizza Party on Friday, May 1st. Many thanks to all of the GES/SC students and families for your overwhelming support!

Here is a picture of the food that was loaded into the bed of a pickup truck for delivery to the Food Bank.

BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE! ! ! ! ! The Food Bank was very very very surprised and excited to see all the food! It will help out at least 50 - 60 families in need this week.
